In partnership with Scenic Mountain Air, Trail Lake Lodge offers a variety of exciting and memorable Flight Seeing packages.  Whether boarding one of Scenic Mountain Air’s aircraft in Anchorage, Seward, or right in front of Trail Lake Lodge in Moose Pass, imagine the exhilaration you will experience as you board your float plane destined for the skies above Alaska's Kenai Peninsula. Your heartbeat races as the plane’s engine roars to life beginning it's takeoff from the water surface. Suddenly, you are airborne and the magnificent aerial views of mountain vistas, glaciers, waterfalls and a menagerie of indigenous wildlife come into view.
 
Mountain goats and sheep graze at high elevations, hundreds of natural waterfalls cascade down the rugged landscape finding their way to lakes, streams and rivers. You literally have a birds-eye view as brown and black bear feast on salmon spawning in a mountain stream. You may catch a glimpse of a Lynx chasing its prey through a forest clearing, or the simple serene enjoyment of observing a bull or cow moose feed on plant life as it wades through an isolated glacier-fed lake.

Once you have arrived at Trail Lake Lodge you will be treated to one of the most memorable gourmet meals complete with wine, prepared by Chef Wayne at our facility to enjoy the beauty of the mountains and lake surrounding Trail Lake Lodge.  This is truly a once in lifetime experience!
