Nestled in a beautiful mountain panorama just off of Highway 9, and located on the shores of scenic Trail Lake in the Chugach National Forest, the Trail Lake Lodge is centrally located for enjoyment of the Kenai Peninsula's many activities.

Thirty minutes south is the harbor town of Seward where you'll find whale-watching, wildlife, and glacier viewing day-cruises into Kenai Fjords National Park, as well as ocean charters for salmon and halibut. A half-hour west is Cooper Landing, headwaters of the world-famous Kenai River with fishing charters and rafting adventures available. In between lie dozens of trailheads with Alaska's best hiking and mountain biking locations.

A rental car is advantageous to access several of the nearby activities, however morning and evening shuttle service to & from Seward is offered from the lodge for a nominal $25 one-way, $35 round-trip fare. Transportation to & from Anchorage, Denali or Cooper Landing can also be arranged by our staff.

The Trail Lake Lodge is both your location and value leader on Alaska's Kenai Peninsula.

All rooms have private baths and televisions, while the main lodge rooms are larger and are configured with one queen bed, one twin bed, and one twin size sofa-sleeper with in-room vanity, desk and telephones with local phone service at no additional charge. Motel rooms are configured with either one double bed or two twin beds.
