The peninsula offers a wide variety of recreational as well as educational activities including an extensive network of hiking trails, excellent fishing, river rafting, glacier viewing, marine cruises through Kenai Fjords National Park, mountain climbing, observing whales and other marine mammals in their natural habitat, bird/eagle watching, and a host of other indigenous animals such as moose, bear, and caribou to name just a few. Almost everything people come to Alaska to see and experience can be found on the Kenai. Our lodge is centrally and conveniently located near the coast, and in the midst of all the above activities. |
